Naughty Cheerleaders! YES PLEASE! An interview with Chrisite St. Clair

A DELICIOUS INTERVIEW WITH
AUTHOR CHRISTINE ST CLAIR!

NR:  Readers love to know more about their authors. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Christie:  I am the self-appointed chronicler of the delinquent behavior of the Fenton University Cheerleadering Squad. I love scandals and secrets. So when I found out about a hidden scandal at Fenton University, I couldn’t resist. I can’t vouch for anyone else, but finding out secrets really gets me going. Between the dozen or so girls in the Fenton University Cheerleading Squad there are plenty of secrets to keep me going. My goal is to give other people the gift of dirty secrets.

NR:  Do you have a day job?
Christie:  I am kept very busy during the day. I spend most of my time at the university. I can’t say too much or I’ll jeopardize my sources for all these dirty little secrets.

NR:  Some of us have things we do to get into the writing frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything special you do to get into the writing mood?
Christie:  I like a stiff drink and some party music to get me going. Think of the corniest cheerleader mix jam ever and that’s what I end up listening to, at least to start off. As my writing gets going I need something with a little lasting power so I go with some Prince until I end pulling out the Rick James, Alicia Keyes, Whitesnake, Chris Cornell. Anything and everything.

NR:  Where do you keep story ideas? Where do they come from?
Christie:  The stories come from the cheerleaders. So far there have four girls, but there are many more to follow. Each girl has her own interests and her own story to tell. Misty is the typical head cheerleader interested in the quarterback. Lisa is manipulative and involved with her teacher. Ashley is initially timid and has a thing for another cheerleader Tara. Prudence is a little wild and has rather interesting family relationships.

NR:  If you’re self-published, can you tell us a bit about that and how it’s going for you?
Christie:  The stories are self-published and it is going ok. Despite the big focus on Amazon there are now so many different avenues for self-publishing and self-marketing that it can be very time-consuming.

NR:  Are you a daytime writer, night time writer, and do you have to be alone to write?
Christie:  A definite night time writer. Things happen during the day, but the real fun starts at night.

NR:  What advice would you give to new authors?
Christie:  Starting off is a balancing act between being ready and just jumping in. You need some preparation, but you’ve just got to throw a little caution to the wind and get going. You’re not going to get everything right the first time. Make some mistakes and learn from them.

NR:  Do you write better when you first have an idea of what your characters look like or do you write, then add character looks?
Christie:  With the cheerleaders, personalities are important. While appearances are important (we are talking about a group of cherry lip gloss cheerleaders), the stories are driven by what the cheerleaders are doing. So I suppose I’d say the appearances are added.

NR:  What attracts you most about men?
Christie:  What they can do. Different men have different abilities. One night I might want romantic and gentle, another night hot and heavy. One night some poetry, the next some kink. A big address book and lots of possibilities is my preference.

NR:  We’re dying to hear about your latest book. What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline?
Christie:  The next book is Shelley’s Hot Tub Threesome. The title says it all. We have a cheerleader who made a brief appearance in the showers in Ashley’s Sleepover. Shelley got Ashley going in the shower and now she has her own story. Shelley has sprained her ankle and is heading over to the neighbor’s house for a little hot tub time. She doesn’t count on the arrival of her neighbors who turn out to be a lot more involved than Shelley realized.

NR:  Where can our readers find you and your books?
Christie:  All you nearest and dearest ebook retailers. They are on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Smashwords and ibooks.

NR:  Is there anything else you want to tell our readers?
Christie:  I appreciate each and everyone of you. I love putting the stories together, but having people who read them makes it even better. Thanks for reading.

NR:  What is your favorite night time snack?
Christie:  Mint choc chip ice cream straight from the tub. I have a special love heart shaped spoon I use solely for my late night ice cream breaks.

NR:  Do you like toppings on your ice cream?
Christie: My favorite is to use my ice cream as a topping for a set of rock hard abs. Otherwise I’ll settle for chocolate.

NR:  What’s your favorite meal - Italian, Mexican, Thai, etc?
Christie: My preference is for spicy, but it depends on my mood. I like to have a taste of everything. Sometimes I don’t want a whole meal, just a good bite. If I had to pick a favorite meal it would be a breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, maple syrup and cream. Yum yum.

Bio:
Christie St Claire isn’t her real name and these are more than just stories. You could say she uses the name Christie St Claire to protect the innocent, which isn’t to say she is innocent, quite the reverse. There has been a scandal at Fenton University that involved the Cheerleader Squad and a good portion of the board of trusties. Christie St Claire is doing everything she can and a lot of things she shouldn’t to find out what happened.

You shouldn’t really read Christie St Claire’s stories. She is using them to expose the sordid sexual lives of the Fenton University Cheerleader Squad. The stories are personal accounts from cheerleaders about their dirty little lives. If a character is too familiar, then you might just know them. What you won’t know is what they do in secret, and that’s what Christie St Claire will show you.
