DeVille Maykare: I’m a former professor, now retired, leading a lascivious lifestyle here in the lovely landscapes of the Ozarks.
NR: Do you have a day job?
DeVille Maykare: My day and night job is the pursuit of sexual adventures.
NR: Hmmm...we all have favorite activities. Some of us have things we do to get into the writing frame of mind like music, or drinks. Do you have anything special you do to get into the writing mood?
DeVille Maykare: I read great authors like Tonya Kinzer, for instance, to stir things up. I often listen to music too, mostly classical, while I write.
NR: DeVille, we're certain if Tonya were here, you'd make her blush. Thank you for your kind words. Where do you keep story ideas? Where do they come from?
DeVille Maykare: They come from a combination of real life experiences and imagination. It’s scary how much my sexual imagination is becoming my reality.
NR: Well, that's not a bad thing! If you’re self-published, can you tell us a bit about that and how it’s going for you?
DeVille Maykare: It’s all new to me. I’m enjoying the chance to meet like-minded writers and readers.
NR: Are you a daytime writer, night time writer, and do you have to be alone to write?
DeVille Maykare: I have to be alone to write, otherwise I want to misbehave. Definitely a night writer.
NR: What advice would you give to new authors?
DeVille Maykare: Write from your passion. Whatever your flavor,
kink, or desire, put that into words.

NR: Great advice. Many authors find it hard not to edit as they write and that slows the process down. Stop doing that and just get the words onto the screen. Do you write better when you first have an idea of what your characters look like or do you write, then add character looks?
DeVille Maykare: I usually start with a scene and add looks once I see what the characters are up to and discover who they are.
NR: What attracts you most about women?
DeVille Maykare: The specific imperfections in each one that makes a woman unique and distinct.
NR: We’re dying to hear about your latest book. What can you tell us without spoiling the storyline?
DeVille Maykare: It’s about a promiscuous MILF named Lillian who is trying very hard to get her anorgasmic husband to find his pleasure too. She takes on all comers and comes on all takers!

DeVille Maykare: So boring. Oatmeal raisin cookies. And lots of Pepsi when I’m writing.
NR: Do you like toppings on your ice cream?
DeVille Maykare: I like my ice cream naked and frosty as it dissolves on my warm tongue.

DeVille Maykare: Definitely Italian. I’ve been to Italy and enjoyed the local wines, pastas and lovers available there.
